My kitchen is my comfort area. When I am having a bad day I go to my kitchen and cook something….or bake something….or wash something. I always feel better after I get done in the kitchen. One of the reasons why we bought our house was the size and design of the kitchen. I love my counter space, the open floor plan of it and the large double sink. We had to fix up a few things in the kitchen and we ended up spending more of our budget than we planned.After the “problems” were fixed in the kitchen, I realized we forgot to replace the faucet. I don’t know how I missed it. I must have been preoccupied with the more important problems. The faucet that came with the house definitely needed to go. It was old and outdated but also it leaked. I just can’t deal with a constant leak. But, we didn’t have enough “kitchen budget” money to buy something expensive and grand.
Kitchen Faucet here I come!
My husband was hesitant about spending more money on the kitchen but I told him that I could find something that I wanted that was fairly. He agreed and so I went to work. I had a few things in mind but I wasn’t exactly sure if I could find something in my price range that would fit my kitchen needs.After searching a few stores and the internet, I found a beautiful peerless kitchen faucet(s) that works perfectly in my kitchen. I have had it for a few months now and I couldn’t be happier with the deal I got. My husband was surprised that I found something with the budget he gave me and I am just happy to have a faucet that doesn’t leak.The first thing I had to look for was the sink installation. My sink is a one-hole sink application and therefore many faucets were automatically ruled out. This faucet is a single lever control which makes it so easy to operate with only one hand. My sink doesn’t allow for a side sprayer and we didn’t have the money (as we were on a budget) to fix that. I love that this has a pull-out sprayer so I am still able to get the effect of a side sprayer. I am able to quickly fill up my pots and clean around the sink.
Since I was on a budget there were not many options for color but I am very happy with this chrome finish which is very beautiful yet easy to clean. It also has rubber nubbins that make it a smooth wipe away and quick clean from calcium and lime build-up. The last great part of this faucet is that it comes with a lifetime faucet and finish warranty. I love spending time in my kitchen and I am so glad that I found such a deal. You may be thinking “budget” and think that it is “cheap”. I would say, Not this time!
