When we moved into our new-to-us, older home, we knew we would have to do some remodeling and improvements to it.  We felt it would be worth it since we got such a good price on it, and we were right!  We’ve had to replace many things and make improvements all around, but we especially have focused on our bathroom.  The toilet that we had in the master bathroom was still functional, it just wasn’t up to par.  It also looked dirty from the years of use that it had and because of the hard water that we have in our area creating a “ring around the toilet”.  It had problems flushing after it was used, which was very annoying and gross!

            Looking for a new toilet was quite the task.  We went to a few home improvement stores as well as some local plumbing supply houses in our town.  At the supply house, some plumbers were getting parts as well and heard what we were looking for.  Many of them, along with the workers, recommended Toto brand toilets.  I had heard of them before, but did not know much about them.  They also told us that they are more expensive than some other brands, but that not many can match the flushing power of a Toto toilet.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

          We got some price quotes with other information about the different types of toilets and their specifications, and then went home to discuss our options.  As part of our decision making process, we got on the internet and searched for Toto toilets reviews, as well as some other brands of toilets.  Most of the reviews that we read about the other brands of toilets, in general, had some bad points and some dissatisfied customers.  There were a few reviews by customers who didn’t like the Toto toilets, but for the most part, many of them were very positive and customer satisfaction seemed to be better than other toilet brands.

            Once we were ready to remodel the bathroom, we looked at our options again.  We decided to go with a Toto toilet and we found the best price for an elongated model among all the quotes that we had received.  My spouse also got the information needed to install the toilet and we went to work!  Among with the other changes we made, the toilet made the bathroom look a hundred times better than before!  What are looks, though, if what you have doesn’t function well?  I am here to say, that the toilet was and is great!

            The elongated is a little more comfortable than the round toilet that we had before, so it doesn’t hurt to sit down to use the restroom.  The technology of the toilet amazes me!  It has great flushing power, but it is ecological in the amount of water it uses per flush.  We haven’t had to use our plunger since it has been installed!  With our last toilet, we were unclogging the toilet once or twice a week, which wasn’t very fun.  If you are looking for a new toilet, consider a Toto!
